Come join us on September 26th for the annual TVTU Teton River clean up. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Bates Bridge to pick up trash bags and coordinate clean up locations. We can help run shuttles for those looking to float and clean. Reconvene at 1 p.m. for free BBQ, beverages and prizes.

Hey Teton Valley!

Teton Valley Trout Unlimited is hosting a fall Teton River Cleanup & Cookout and invite the community to join!

Join Teton Valley Trout Unlimited on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM–1 PM to help clean up the Teton River boat ramps and river banks. We will have trash bags and gloves at Bates and will split up to hit all of the boat ramps. We encourage floaters too!

There will be prizes for the most flies collected and the most unique find. At 1PM, we will gather back at Bates for a BBQ (donations appreciated but not required!).

Schedule:
📍 10 AM — Meet at Bates Bridge parking area
🧤 10:30 AM–1 PM — Clean & float or walk
🌭 1 PM — BBQ cookout + prizes

Join us for the 3rd Annual Teton Valley Kids Fishing Day on June 13 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Trail Creek Pond!

Bring the kids for a fun-filled FREE day of fishing and learning. Teton Valley Trout Unlimited will have hands-on stations where kids can learn about fish, aquatic insects, casting, and more.

Rods and gear provided (or bring your own!) We will be distributing FREE FISHING RODS and fun fishing gear for kids while supplies last. Enjoy FREE Pizza, root b**r, and ice cream provided!

This event is FREE, open to kids of all ages, and no fishing experience is necessary. We hope to see you there!

Parking at Trail Creek Pond is limited. Free shuttle service will be available from Kotler Ice Arena.

But in 1976, everything changed.

The catastrophic collapse of the Teton Dam unleashed nearly 80 billion gallons of water, devastating downstream communities and forever altering the river’s story. The disaster killed 11 people, flooded hundreds of thousands of acres, and caused billions in damage.

Nearly 50 years later, the river, and the people who depend on it, continue to recover, rebuild, and reimagine what the future of the watershed can be.
