Victor Hiking Trails We are a 100% grassroots organization that began exploratory meetings in the fall of 1991. We have accomplished a lot, but we still have much work ahead of us.

We currently have over 65 miles of open trails, thanks to all the volunteers. Join us.

National Trails Day with Victor Hiking Trails (VHT) - Sunday 6/7
National Trails Day in Victor and Fishers

This year Victor Hiking Trails is partnering with the Friends of the Rail-road for a special dedication, hikes, bike rides and Chicken BBQ. Save Sunday, June 7th for this special occasion.
Starting at 8:45 AM we will gather in the old Fishers Fire Station parking lot, 7853 Main Street Fishers. Trail guides and bike leaders will head out on the Auburn Trail at 9:00 AM for a two-hour hike or ride.
At 11:30 AM Friends of the Railroad will conduct a dedication of a Pomeroy Historic sign, next to the authentic Rochester & Eastern Rapid Railway waiting station. The waiting station and the cobblestone pumphouse will be open for viewing.
After the presentation, every-one will be invited to enjoy a Chicken BBQ, prepared by King’s Catering. The meal includes 1/2 chicken, salt potatoes, macaroni salad, roll, butter and bottled water. Pre-orders are $17.50 and walk-ups are $20 cash or Paypal. Pre-orders can be made up until Friday, June 5. Scan the QR code to pre-order.

VHT mowed the Helen's Way trails today. I'm doing so we found a large tree across the easterly portion of the 2 mile loop. A temporary reroute was created to keep the trail continuous and on the Bishop property. We will get out again soon to clear the tree and do more looping and hedge trimming.
