It has been so wonderful to see Tabatha's confidence grow each week! She continues to enhance her riding skills, independently navigating the different obstacles and demonstrating solid communication with her partner, Roxy.

Laura and Journey joined Andrea's lesson today as a companion rider. Having a second horse and rider can serve several functions in a lesson, and today it added some complexity for Andrea. After spending the day hauling and stacking several tons of hay, we enjoyed a glowing ride under the Harvest Moon. This was to prep the horses for a Halloween Ride that we are planning for our students, volunteers, staff and their families with the next full moon in October. Most of our photos are blurry, because getting a horse to stand perfectly still for the camera's night vision setting is beyond my skill level.

Andrea and Eagle continue to work so well together. Mixing up the patterns and adding new elements gives them just enough of a challenge to continuously refine skills and enhance communication - and they've developed a strong connection.
