The VFW Post 2572 would like to share a tribute and obituary from the National Guard Association of Mississippi for Master Sergeant Sherman Hull, our oldest member, who passed away yesterday at the age of 92. In March, Sherman was honored with an Honorary Life Membership in recognition of his outstanding loyalty and dedication, as well as his commitment to the programs, activities, and ideals of The Army and Navy Club of Vicksburg, the U.S. Military, and our Nation.

Glenwood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife of 70 years, Ollie. Please join us in offering a prayer of thanks for Sherman’s life.
