SHPE Mississippi The Mississippi Professional Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE-MS) was founded in Vicksburg, MS in 2012 by 11 engineers.

The main goals of SHPE-MS are to provide professional and leadership opportunities to our members, to increase STEM awareness and impact in the community, promote social and cultural integration among the members and the community. WHAT IS SHPE MS?

The Mississippi Professional Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE-MS) was founded in Vicksburg, MS in 2012 by 11 engineers.

The main objective was to form an organization of professionals that could serve as role models to the community. We are always seeking to reach out to other professionals in Mississippi to help them and our chapter grow.

SHPE-MS is one of the most active professional organizations in the Vicksburg area in terms of outreach and community service. We are also active collaborators with the Student Chapter of SHPE at Mississippi State University (SHPE MSU). Our Chapter keeps open communication with our members and tries to satisfy their professional needs while still reaching back to the community.
