This week we learn about the resurrection of Jesus and what followed for the next 40 days. Read with us Luke 24. My favorite verse from this passage is Luke 24:6, "He is not here, but he has risen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee..." Sometimes we too forget the things we've heard and learned. We serve a risen savior who was and is and forever will be! Pray with us as our leaders prepare for this lesson this week.
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told His disciples, โIt is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earthโ (Acts 1:7-8).
Although you may not understand the season of life you are in, if you believe in Jesus, you can rely on the Holy Spirit to give you power to be His bold witness. Considering it is a matter of eternal life or death, we have a great responsibility to share the Good News of Jesus.
During the ๐๐๐ International Conference in May, we focused on building ministry highways to reach 100 million children annually by 2032. We heard incredible testimonies from missionaries who share the Good News of Jesus with children around the world, and some of these stories are included in this edition. We look to God to empower us to continue sharing the Good News of Jesus with even more children.
