When else can you ride across the Old Mississippi River Bridge?

Only at the 12th Annual Bricks and Spokes Bicycle Ride! The bicycle ride will begin in beautiful Downtown Vicksburg and will travel the red brick road down to the Old Mississippi River Bridge. Enjoy riding the streets of Mississippi and Louisiana all at the same event! There is a 10 mile ride, 20 mile ride, 30 mile ride, 50 mile ride, and 62 mile ride. If you prefer off-road/multi surface then you

are set with two options of 30 and 45miles. With those distances there is sure to be something for every cyclists. The route is fully supported with rest stops to refuel, and enjoy the scenery as you travel along the unique Bricks and Spokes route. All types of bicycles are accepted and riders of all ages are invited! Come be part of history in Historic Downtown Vicksburg and follow the brick roads across the Mighty Mississippi River!

After much thought, we’ve made the decision to pause Bricks & Spokes this year. Our team is focusing on key projects and events that require significant resources and volunteer support, and while we would love to do it all, we’ve decided to prioritize where we can make the biggest impact this year. Bricks & Spokes remains a top priority, and we’re excited to bring it back in 2025 with even more excitement and energy. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—we can’t wait to ride with you next year!

🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ A Big Thank You to all the amazing cyclists who joined us for the 13th Annual Bricks & Spokes bike ride! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

What a fantastic day it was for a bike ride! Despite a few minor wind challenges, your enthusiasm and dedication made this event a huge success.

We couldn't have done it without the incredible support of our Sponsors and volunteers, including the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Vicksburg Police Department, Parks & Recreation, Community Service, Traffic Department, River City Early College students, and the Southern Heritage Air Foundation team led by Patty Mekus for their awesome rest stop.

Special thanks to Miss Teen Vicksburg, who not only graced us with her presence but also personally handed out finishing medals to our dedicated cyclists. Your contribution made this event even more special.

Bricks & Spokes Bike Ride

Bricks & Spokes will be hosting its 10th Annual bike ride this fall on September 28th! Bricks & Spokes bike ride is all about the experience. Getting outdoors and riding across the Old Mississippi Bridge and into our neighboring state, Louisiana, then heading back across and taking a spin through history at the iconic Vicksburg National Military Park. After the ride, riders come together for a fun after party and celebrate cycling, our community and conservation!

The experience of Bricks & Spokes is truly unforgettable, after all it’s a ride not a race! Bricks and Spokes allows you to take your time and enjoy the diverse scenery that Vicksburg has to offer. This bike ride has four routes, 10, 30, 50, and 62 miles, all of which focus on exploring the natural beauty and small town charm of Vicksburg. We want everyone from the highly experienced to the families who may be new to biking to have a blast.

Come enjoy a day in Vicksburg, the ride is just the start of a great day with us! After the ride enjoy an after spread including free food, live music, activities for kids, door prizes, and a chance to connect with other cyclists from all over!

All of this in one cycling event and with every pedal you are helping locals and tourists connect to our community and our outdoors!So join us this fall for our 10th Annual Bricks & Spokes and enjoy our biking adventure!
