What a beautiful beginning to an unforgettable year! We are excited to welcome this amazing group of young ladies as they embark on their journey as the 54th Annual Debutantes of Les Soeurs Charmantes Social & Civic Club. 👑

This season will be about so much more than one special night—it will be filled with sisterhood, leadership, service, personal growth, new experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime.

We are looking forward to watching each of these young ladies shine as they prepare to step into their next chapter. ✨

Les Soeurs Charmantes Social and Civic Club is honored to dedicate this year’s program to two remarkable women whose lives exemplified leadership, service, and enduring impact.

The Late Dr. Allene Demby Gayles
Dr. Gayles was a devoted mother, civic leader, and lifelong advocate for education and community service. A proud alumna of Alcorn State University, she served the university and its alumni with distinction for more than four decades and held numerous leadership roles throughout her life. Her commitment to service, scholarship, and civic engagement leaves a lasting legacy that continues to inspire all who knew her.

Mrs. Shirley Coleman Harris
Mrs. Harris is a respected educator, musician, and community leader whose influence spans generations. With more than 40 years in education, she inspired students through her dedication to music and mentorship. Her musical gifts have enriched churches, civic organizations, and countless lives, extending far beyond the classroom.

We are proud to honor these women and celebrate their lasting contributions to our community and sisterhood.

From rehearsals to the evening of the ball, these young men consistently exhibited class, discipline, and exceptional character. Their commitment, support, and positive spirit played a vital role in creating a memorable and meaningful experience for our debutantes.
