Excited to see Girls, Inc is expanding in our county. Already established in Patriot and now the program in coming to Vevay. Thanks to everyone who is making this happen!

The Community Foundation of Switzerland County is excited to announce that GIRLS INC. will be coming to Vevay for a 2026 Summer Program for girls entering 1st to 6th grade. These eight weeks of summer fun will meet each Thursday from 2:30 - 5:00 pm at the Switzerland County Public Library (205 Ferry Street, Vevay). Please scan the QR code below and register TODAY! This program is funded by the Live Well Switzerland County initiative at CFSCI and is FREE to all participants.

On behalf of Broads on Boards, LLC (BOBs) and everyone who participated in, enjoyed, and benefited from our programs this past year, we extend our sincere thanks for your generous support of our mission. Your contribution reflects your trust in our organization and your belief in the positive impact we strive to make within our community.

Throughout 2025, BOBs was proud to host and support a variety of meaningful and engaging initiatives, including:

•Super Cool Thrift Event – started a couple years ago by High School Students and continued this past year at the Ogle Haus as a fundraiser for BOBs.

•Wheels on Fire Cruise In – the second year built on the utstanding success of 2024 and saw the event expand further throughout town. Businesses saw very successful days and the town received exposure to thousands.

•Back for the third year, Trunk or Treat held at Ogle Park saw over 1000 kids enjoy the decorations, community members and businesses and the BPA costume contest.

•The Visit Vevay initiative continues with posters and rack cards in place at the Ogle Haus. The Exit 55 Attraction signs are brining guests to the area and the VisitVevay.Org website is undergoing a refresh.

•BOBs participated in the Belterra/Boyd Trees of Hope and raised funds by decorating a tree to promote our activities. Several volunteers took the time to create unique gingerbread characters to decorate with.

•Switzerland County Angel Tree benefited from our faciliataion of a grant pass-thru this past year.

•We also had the opportunity to attend the National Main Street Conference and participate in several regional meetings focused on grants and community development opportunities.

Your support makes all of this possible, and for that, we are deeply grateful. We are already planning exciting initiatives ahead and look forward to 2026 as a year of continued growth, collaboration, and community impact.

Huge holiday thank you to Belterra Casino Resort and Boyd Gaming for supporting several amazing nonprofits in our community. We truly appreciate the opportunity to participate in the Trees of Hope. We can’t wait to put this money for good use in our community.

If you haven’t been up to see the trees, I hope they are up until Christmas Day or the day after so be sure to check them out when you’re at Belterra.

Here’s to a holiday season filled with love, laughter, and good cheer🎄

The Tiki Treatz team had a fantastic day! A big thank you to Jaden Jarvis for welcoming us back to Jaden's Tri-State Toy Show Flea Market. It's great to see the crowd growing - a testament to your dedication, Jaden. Keep pushing forward, and you'll be amazed at the results! We're also grateful to BOBs - Broads on Boards, LLC for having us back at Vevay's Trunk or Treat. The excitement is palpable, and we appreciate the effort you put into creating a safe and enjoyable environment for families.
