Our first Sisterhood Social back! We love these moms and are so thankful for the sweet community Sisterhood has built. There’s something so special about coming together, sharing life, encouraging one another, and reminding each other that we were never meant to walk this journey alone.💙

We had such a sweet and emotional morning at Unless U. Leslie’s parents wanted to honor her beautiful life and legacy by creating a scholarship in her memory, and today, we had the privilege of awarding the very first Leslie Putman Memorial Scholarship to Darryl Stephens.
Leslie brought so much joy and love to Unless U, and we are so grateful that her legacy will continue to make a difference in the lives of our students. We can’t think of a more special way to honor her. Congratulations, Darryl!

The happiest place around—a little slice of heaven on earth—turned 12 yesterday! 🎉💙

Our students have been busy celebrating all week with a Post Place Diner and an Unless U Café! For 12 years, Unless U has been a place of joy, friendship, purpose, and belonging—and we are so grateful for every student, family, staff member, volunteer, and friend who has been part of our story.

Happy 12th Birthday, Unless U! Here’s to many more years of celebrating the amazing people who make this place so special!

Everyone’s favorite weather man stopped by Unless U today! ☀️🌦️ A big thank you to James Spann for spending time with us. Our students loved learning all about the weather and getting to meet one of their favorite visitors. Thanks for making our day a little brighter!

What a fun week at VBS! We loved spending time with so many amazing volunteers and friends while learning about God's love together.
A huge thank you to Shades Mountain Baptist Church and Hand in Hand for welcoming our students and allowing us to be part of such a special week. We are so grateful for your partnership and for creating a place where everyone feels loved, included, and celebrated.

Best. First. Week. Of. Summer. 💙
We loved welcoming so many new faces this week and kicking off summer with lots of smiles, laughter, and fun! From an amazing magician to flower arrangements and everything in between, it was a week full of memories, friendships, and excitement.

Last semester, our students partnered up for a special project that combined fine motor skills with meaningful conversations about feelings and emotions. Together, they traced each other's body outlines and explored what makes each of us unique—both on the outside and the inside.

As they decorated their creations, students talked about emotions like happiness, sadness, excitement, and frustration, sharing what makes them feel each one. It was a wonderful opportunity to build self-awareness, practice communication, and celebrate the things that make us who we are. 💙
