Every Cat's Dream Our mission is to take the sick, injured and abandoned off the streets. Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome into wonderful homes. We decided to switch gears!

We also provide trap neuter and release. Every Cat's Dream Adoption Center Please email [email protected] for info We have been a dog rescue for many years but have decided the best way for us to help the Community is to start a Trap Neuter and Release program. While we will still help with dog placements, our main goal is to help the never ending stray cat population. Our goal is to reduce the number of stray cats in our area by providing spay and neuter clinics. Some stray cats will need to be released back to their colonies, but if we get our hands on any that are adoptable, we will bring them into our adoption program. So many of stray cats are adoptable! We plan to work hard in placing any cats or kittens into foster homes until they are ready for adoption. 85% of the cats we have in our care are stray cats brought into us from Broome County. These are several of the cats that were altered at the tnr clinic held by Kaleidoscope Health and Rescue last weekend. Most of the street cats caught at this clinic were females.

Did you know:

An unspayed female cat can have over 100 kittens in her lifetime. Think about that! By spaying 5 females at the clinic they just put a stop to 500 kittens being bornšŸ˜ž

Reproduction Facts

ā€¢ Age of maturity: Female cats can become pregnant as early as 4 to 6 months old.
ā€¢ Litters per year: A healthy unspayed cat can have 2 to 3 (and up to 4 or 5) litters every year.
ā€¢ Litter size: The average litter contains 4 to 6 kittens, though it can range from 1 to 9.
ā€¢ Total lifespan potential: Over a typical fertile span of several years, this adds up to roughly 12 to 20 total litters and well past 100 individual kittens if left unspayed.

When it comes to raising money to support rescues, itā€™s the fundraisers and events that are held that provide a great deal of money to support the animals care, housing and medical expenses.

Please stop by Home Depot parking lot and purchase a dinner and remember the meal your purchasing helps save a kitten or cat in need!

Kittens that arrived a few days ago are safely tucked away in foster care getting the treatment they need for their respiratory issues and ulcerated eyes šŸ˜”

Thank you to Kaleidoscope Health and Rescue for taking in these two babies and placing them in your adoption program.

They have a long road ahead of them but once they are healthy they will be placed up for adoption. Thank you Kim for fostering and providing the critical care that they need at the moment!

I know Iā€™m not alone when I say I miss the rescue and the part (though small) that I played in helping kitties find homes over a span of well over 10 years.

I was so thankful to get this adoption update today which truly made my day ā¤ļø

Today is Gotcha Day for Sally and Woodstock! Thought I'd send a couple recent pictures and a video of how Woody likes to go under my bedspread and sleep! Thank you for caring for them and allowing me to bring them to their forever home! Hope all is well with you!
