Goodbyes are never easy, are they?
Today marks four years since we announced the closing of our Petco adoption center. It is with both sadness and gratitude that today we announce the permanent closure of **Every Cat's Dream Rescue**.
There are simply not enough words to express our appreciation for this incredible community. Every time we reached out for help, you answered. Through your donations, encouragement, adoptions, fostering, volunteering, and unwavering belief in our mission, you gave thousands of cats a chance at a better life.
To our amazing volunteers—you poured your hearts and souls into this rescue. What began as a group of people with a common purpose became a family. Your compassion, dedication, and countless hours made Every Cat's Dream what it was, and I am forever honored and grateful to have walked this journey beside you.
While this chapter is coming to an end, there is also hope.
As Every Cat's Dream closes its doors, **Kaleidoscope Health and Rescue (KHR)** will begin a new chapter in this very location, ensuring that the mission of helping cats continues.
KHR, founded by Dr. Alison Beaulieu of Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital, will lovingly care for our remaining four adult cats and several litters of kittens as they transition into their new home. Over time, KHR will also welcome many of their own rescued cats and kittens into the adoption center.
Beyond adoptions, KHR is committed to expanding services for our community by:
• Offering affordable spay and neuter clinics to help reduce the never-ending homeless cat population.
• Providing temporary housing and support for pets whose families are experiencing displacement or hardship.
• Continuing to advocate for the health, welfare, and future of homeless cats in our community.
We ask that you continue the same incredible support you have shown us over the years. Starting a new rescue and continuing this mission is no small undertaking. Please be patient as KHR thoughtfully transitions cats and kittens into their new surroundings, allowing everyone the time they need to adjust.
The work doesn't stop—it simply continues under a new name.
