United Musicians of the Twin Tiers and Central NY State, AFM 380-443

We are a Local chapter of the AFM, a 501c5 not for profit labor organization. See the "more" section below to see the list of those counties. Kingston, NY.

Our jurisdiction spans multiple counties in NY State since the voluntary merger of AFM 380 and AFM 443. The jurisdiction of AFM Local 380-443

In New York State all of these counties: Broome, Tioga, Cortland, Tompkins, Chemung,
Schuyler, Steuben, Chenango, Otsego, and Schoharie. All of Delaware county except the portion which is in the jurisdiction of Local 215. The following in Cayuga County: Mor

avia, Sempronius, Locke and Summerhill. In Livingston County in NY: Dansville, Ossian, Spring Water, Sparta, West Sparta, Nunda, Portage, Mt. Morris, Groveland, Livonia and Lima. In Pennsylvania, all of Bradford and Tioga Counties. In Susquehanna County (PA): Apolacon,
Bridgewater, Choconut, Forest Lake, Franklin, Friendsville, Great Bend, Hallstead, Harmony,
Jackson, Jessup, Lanesboro, Liberty, Little Meadows, Middletown, Montrose, New Milford,
Oakland, Silver Lake, Susquehanna Depot, and Thompson. And additions, deletions, or
changes which may be hereafter mandated by the Federation.

Please make the trip to attend! Local AFM 380-443 favorites Dan Martin and Tom Ives return with jazz standards, American Songbook gems, and a few originals thrown into the mix.

Drive up, roll down your windows, or bring a lawn chair or blanket. Folding chairs are also available from the Meadow Links Pavilion. If weather is inclement concert will be inside the Pavilion.

If you missed the Dan Sales Jazz Quintet at the Richfield Springs Community Center during the Otsego Music Trail this past May, don't miss this opportunity to experience five exceptional musicians whose artistry, imagination, and musical conversation make every performance unique.

From timeless favorites of the Great American Songbook to beloved jazz standards, contemporary works, and original compositions, the program offers something for seasoned jazz lovers and curious first-time listeners alike. This will be an evening of music that reminds us that great music doesn't fit neatly into a single category. Their program moves comfortably among classical favorites, folk melodies, and familiar popular tunes, all connected by beautiful musicianship and the warmth of two instruments that seem made for each other. We had beautiful weather on July 20 for the performance at Meadow Links! Shout out to Storied Winds members Local 380-443 members Claire McKenney, Lesley McClelland and David Resig. Terrific attendance for engaging music and stories---including The Bassoonist of Hamlin, and the Jabberwocky! We also have a concessions now, thanks to the Kuhl Family Farms. Thank you Music Performance Trust Fund and Concerted Works for making this admission free, family friendly performance possible, and thank you to the Meadow Links Golf Course for your 6 years of gracious hospitality!

Recently, an historic decision has been made by the NLRB on behalf of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and their 3 librarians. Last fall, their librarians petitioned the NLRB for inclusion into the CBA and in June 2026 a ruling was handed down in their favor. A*O's Orchestra Committee President recently sent the following to the orchestra:
“A 'Memorandum of Agreement' has been signed and executed by all parties - and THE A*O OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZES EMMA, SARA, AND JAMES - ALL THREE OF OUR LIBRARIANS - AS MEMBERS OF OUR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT.... "
