Today, we close out an incredible week of adventure camp while coming together to celebrate and reflect on Juneteenth.

Our campus has been buzzing with activity, but the heart of the week was found in a quiet, creative moment: our campers crafted individual quilt squares reflecting what freedom means to them.

Last week we got to host Urban Impact camp ☀️🎒

We’ve been lucky enough to watch many of these campers grow, persevere, and step out of their comfort zones over the years.

This summer, we wanted to give them some unforgettable "firsts." The campers absolutely crushed it by taking on some brand-new adventures, including:
🏊‍♂️ Swimming in the pond
🧗‍♂️ Tackling the high-ropes obstacle course
🙌 Facing the Leap of Faith
🐴 Exploring our brand-new equine obstacle course!

🌿Nature Resilience Camp Next Week!🌿
Spots still available June 22–26 at Life Adventure Center
At Life Adventure Center, we believe connection with nature, community, and self can help young people grow into more resilient and compassionate individuals. 💚
During this week-long camp, children ages 6–9 will explore our 575-acre campus through hiking, environmental education, horse experiences, and team-building adventures designed to strengthen confidence, communication, empathy, and resilience.
Each activity is intentionally facilitated and debriefed by our trained staff to help campers connect their experiences in the outdoors to everyday life in meaningful and lasting ways.
🌎 Learn sustainability and environmental stewardship
🐴 Build connection through hands-on experiences
🌱 Grow resilience, teamwork, and self-confidence
Lunch, snacks, and hydration are provided. Scholarships are available to help make camp accessible for more families.

Navigating props and obstacles with a horse isn't just fun—it’s a powerful way to practice communication, build trust, and learn how to conquer everyday challenges.

We debuted the course at our recent Extreme Adventure Challenge, and teams loved partnering with the horses to tackle the obstacles.
