We use the natural environment to help individuals affected by trauma cope with and overcome cognitive, behavioral, and social challenges. Life Adventure Center is excited to invite military, veterans, and first responders and their families, ages 6+ to our property June 20- 21. This weekend retreat will provide an opportunity for your family to engage in outdoor, trauma-informed adventure programming designed to strengthen family communication, connection, and resilience! Our trained staff will curate intentionally sequenced activities on our challenge course, meditative labyrinth, with our horses, and at our assembly building. You’ll be staying in either our rustic cabins or in our larger bunkhouse. Thanks to the Lift A Life Novak Family Foundation, we’re able to offer this experience at no cost!

The 2026 Extreme Adventure Challenge was a success! Close to 100 incredible participants stepped up to test their skill, grit, and endurance. More importantly, every single stride helped support our mission to build resilience through outdoor adventure. A huge congratulations to our winners and a massive shout-out to everyone who dared to take on the challenge. We are already brainstorming ways to make next year even better. 🌿 Nature Resilience Camp 🌿
June 22–26 at Life Adventure Center
At Life Adventure Center, we believe connection with nature, community, and self can help young people grow into more resilient and compassionate individuals. 💚
During this week-long camp, children ages 6–9 will explore our 575-acre campus through hiking, environmental education, horse experiences, and team-building adventures designed to strengthen confidence, communication, empathy, and resilience.
Each activity is intentionally facilitated and debriefed by our trained staff to help campers connect their experiences in the outdoors to everyday life in meaningful and lasting ways.

The horses are excited to host new students at the farm for riding lessons this summer! Now registering: 8-week sessions for beginnner/intermediate youth and adults. Scholarship applications are available. Riders will build confidence and learn horsemanship skills in a small-group environment led by CHA-certified instructors. Lessons include riding, grooming, tacking, trail riding, mounted games, and more.
