Woodford County High School Band will be hosting the KMEA State Marching Band Championships 4A East Quarterfinals at Woodford Co HS on Saturday, October 24th. Our first request for assistance is related to keeping our participating bands, volunteers, and all attendees at the event safe. If anyone has any leads on where we may borrow both Delineator Posts and Road Cones, please comment below or email us at [email protected].

BJ's Wholesale Club is opening a new location in Frankfort with a Grand Opening on November 13th!! Purchase a discounted membership, and a portion will be donated to support Woodford Bands! Memberships can be used at ANY BJ's Wholesale Club location nationwide, and for online shipped purchases. Details in the attached flyer.

WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🌙🎶🏆

These kids just became GRAND CHAMPIONS of the Washington County Invitational! 🏆

And while that trophy is pretty dang awesome, what makes me the proudest is everything that went into getting them here — the hours of rehearsal, the early mornings, the late nights, the sweat, the frustration, the laughter, the teamwork, and the decision to keep pushing when it got hard.

Tonight, they got to see all of that work pay off. ❤️

And because apparently Grand Champions get an encore… these kids are getting one more opportunity to take the field and perform tonight! 🎶🔥

So yes, we’re going to be getting home later than planned, but I don’t think anyone is complaining about that. 😂

Let them have their moment.
Let them play.
Let them celebrate.

They’ve earned it.

So incredibly proud of this band. Not just for the trophy, but for the people they’re becoming and the way they continue to show up for each other.

Tonight belongs to them. ❤️
