Native Works New England was founded in 2011 and is a Podcast. A podcast is a digital media broadcast that you download to your computer, Ipod, or smartphone. Think of it as a radio show that you can listen to anytime anywhere! Native Works goal is to let people know about news and events happening in the Native American community throughout New England. We hope this information will serve our com
munity in the greater understanding our culture and to serve as a focal point towards bringing us information in today’s busy world. Every month Native Works will feature news about what’s happening on the Native scene here in New England. We will have guest speakers, musicians, and artists along with interviews with people telling their story about what they are doing in our community. If you would like to tell your story or know of someone who would please feel free to contact us. Look to us for an updated list of PowWow’s and events. To add an event just let us know and we’ll make sure to get the news out. We’ll also be reporting from various events across New England. Your host’s for this podcast will be Jim Adams. Jim is of Cherokee, Penobscot and Lakota heritage and resides in Connecticut. Around here we call her Raven! (Fill in your information!)
