Y'all... I gotta tell you about my brother.
Not my blood brother — the kind God drops into your life when you least expect it. Thomas James. TJ. Founder of 4_Corners Music, gospel singer with choir fire.
He sent me a chorus, “Thank You for This Day,” and said, “Bring it home.” I wrote the verses and produced it — first take was it. When TJ heard the choir, he said it sounded exactly like what he'd felt in his spirit. He never gave me one lick of musical direction.
Then we did it again — “Blame It on Me (The Man in the Mirror).” Same magic. Then we knew.
So TJ named us: THE STIR IT UP BROTHERS. “Why can't we just do music? You do what you do, I'll do what I do, and let's see what the gumbo tastes like.”
Well, brother — I tasted the gumbo. Five stars. Would stir again. 😄
Zero ego. Zero competition. “Saved the best 4 Last to reach the 4_Corners of the Earth.”
TWO BROTHERS. TWO SOUNDS. ONE FAITH. ONE MISSION.
