It's Fall, Y'all! Come and join us for some rowing fun during the beautiful fall foliage season! More info will be on our website soon, but here's a preview:

Masters Novice:
- Saturdays, 9-11am, Lake Meahagh. Sept 6 - Oct 18. $260
Masters Experienced: Sept 3 - Nov 2. $325.
- Sundays, 7-9am. Intended to be on the river, but may start out on Lake Meahagh.
- Rowing Skills: Saturdays, 7-9am, Lake Meahagh.
- Informal Sculling: Wednesdays, 8-10am, Lake Meahagh
- Competition Practice: a new, add-on program for those serious about racing. Must be approved by Coach Lochlann. Thursdays, 5:30-7am, starting Sept 11. Additional $75. Stay tuned to SportsYou for more info from him soon.
- Independent Rowing: additional $90

All programs include Row2Music, Mondays, 6:45-8pm, starting on Sept 8. Currently being held at the river, until further notice.

Walker Piccolo-Hill is graduating from Hendrick Hudson High School and plans to attend Northeastern University to study Environmental Engineering.

Walker was always on the Honor Roll at Hendrick Hudson. An AP Scholar of Distinction he completed 11 AP courses and is a member of the Italian Honor Society.

Walker plays clarinet and played in the HHHS Band.

An active volunteer in his community and a Peer Leader at Hendrick Hudson; the IBM Science Saturdays Program and for the Town of Cortlandt Tennis Camp.

In addition to rowing with CCRA Walker played JV and Varsity Tennis for two years.

Elizabeth Sheehan, known to friends and teachers as Lizzie, is a proud member of the Winston Preparatory School Class of 2025. A standout student, Lizzie has earned Dean’s List honors every year in high school, exemplifying her diligence, determination, and love for learning.

Throughout high school, Lizzie emerged as a dynamic leader and community contributor. She currently serves as President of the Student Council and Student President of Volunteer Services and Fundraising, where she’s led initiatives that brought students together for causes they care about. She’s also editor-in-chief and main photographer in Yearbook Club and volunteers with both Habitat for Humanity and the Red Cross, giving back whenever and wherever she can.

Outside the classroom, Lizzie is a dedicated crew member at Cortlandt Community Rowing Association, balancing practice with school leadership and academics. She is also a Assistant Teacher at Rising Star Children's Center, where she supports childhood development through education, play, and care.

Lizzie has expanded her interests beyond the classroom through two impressive internships: one at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she explored the world of corporate law, and another at WPIX in New York City, where she worked in the marketing department, gaining hands-on experience in media and production.

With an eye on the future and a heart rooted in service, Lizzie will be attending Marist University in the fall, where she plans to major in Marketing. She hopes to combine her love of communication, creativity, and leadership into a meaningful and purpose-driven career.

The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department is looking for Senior Counselors for Day Camp, 5th/ 6th Grade Camp, & 7th/ 8th Grade Camp!
