I recently got message from a friend that I've known from displaying my collection at the Blackhawk Council race when it was held in Pecatonica IL. He said in his message that he had some cars for my collection. I thought he had picked up some cars while out and about. Little did I know that I was getting a better part of the cars he and his son built in their scouting days. Not to mention all of the trophies, kits, blocks, wheels and a lot of other goodies I'll probably donate to the local scout groups.
I also found the little red car on the way home. Time to build some new cases and make these the centerpiece of the collection.
