It was an exciting morning at Verona Ice Arena with the ground breaking ceremony for the addition of a second sheet of ice. So proud and grateful to all of our friends who helped us raise $50,000 to sponsor a team bench in James’ name, and excited for all the current and future skaters who will learn about leadership, passion, and being a team player during their time spent at the rink.

Thanks to some very generous folks, we exceeded our $50,000 goal for the team bench naming gift! We are so appreciative of the support for this special opportunity!

If you are still interested in donating to the naming gift - it's not too late! Though we've met our initial goal, every gift helps get I.C.E., Inc. closer to their overall capital campaign goal AND there are additional naming gift opportunities at $100,000 (ahem, team locker room!). Hey, all! It's been a minute, but we have a SUPER EXCITING opportunity we wanted to share with you!

Verona Ice Arena is embarking on a capital campaign for an expansion to add an additional sheet of ice. This is HUGE for all the youth and high school hockey programs and the community.

As part of their campaign, they are offering naming gift opportunities, and we thought this was a PERFECT way to create a truly permanent and lasting legacy for James in a place where he spent countless hours practicing, playing, and coaching.

So, we are launching a fundraising campaign to secure the naming of a team bench in the Verona rink in James' name.

Some reminders and updates coming at you this week - here we go!

1. We won’t have a full apparel store this year, but you can order a 2021 event t-shirt for $15 using the Google Form below. Orders must be in by Friday, August 6.

Looking for a way to support or LAST event? We are still in need of donations for the silent auction and hole prizes for our on-course events. Themed baskets, experiences (event tickets, tours, overnight stays, etc.), unique gifts, and gift cards/certificates are all great options!
