And to that point, as myveronanj reported, due to inefficient and outdated heating systems, our children had to go to the High School Yesterday where the indoor temperature did not hit 60 degrees in certain parts of the building. How is this conducive to learning. One young man at the referendum meeting today said children were wearing double and triple layers of clothing in Gym Class

It was 57.5 degrees inside Verona High School's gym today. The 58-year-old boiler could be replaced if Verona passes a referendum on March 11.

Please Get out and vote YES on March 11th for this referendum. Our schools are in desperate need of technological and security upgrades. We have NO WI-FI infrastructure to support the new federally mandated state testing that will begin in 2015.
This means in order to take the test we will have to bus our children to other school districts. Our High School Athletic Field has been condemned by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
Our standing among other schools in Verona continues to drop every year, as these basic needs go unanswered. This referendum will cost the average Verona Home Owner a mere $176.00 in additional taxes per year; a small price to pay for an investment in our town, and in our children's futures. Please get everyone in your household who is 18 older to vote yes for this measure. Thank you Mr. Forte for putting your heart and soul into this. Your dedication will be greatly missed. The new children's hair salon is so great! They gave both my boys a great cut, were so kind, and the kids could either watch a movie or play a video game while getting sheared... Why do I drive buy and see this place empty all the. It's a great place!
