Over the past few weeks, Verona Rescue Squad members had the opportunity to visit several summer day camps throughout Verona and our surrounding communities!

Campers got an up-close look at our ambulances and equipment, learned about what EMT’s do, and had the chance to ask questions about Emergency Medical Services.

We’re always excited to connect with our younger community members and continue our commitment to education, outreach, and serving our local communities!

If you heard alot of sirens this afternoon, our crews responded to a house fire within the Township and two simultaneous Township Medical Emergencies requiring Advanced Life Support (Paramedics) which were covered by multiple volunteers staffing all of our ambulances.

Thank you to our duty crew as well as the off duty members who came out to cover the simultaneous emergencies.

⚽️ FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 ⚽️

The Verona Rescue Squad had the honor and Privilege to support the NJ EMS TASK FORCE during the 2026 FIFA World Cup!

From the opening match through the championship, our members served on regional strike teams positioned around MetLife Stadium and staffed medical aid stations helping provide emergency medical care for the millions of fans and visitors who came to New Jersey.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a role in this historic event and grateful to our partners at the NJ EMS Task Force and other Federal, State and Local Agencies.
