My heart is heavy as I await information regarding one of my Bobs. I find peace, only, in knowing that he is no longer homeless and, instead has "gone home". Rest is peace and power, my friend.

Sunshine, humidity, rain and wind. Laughter and arguements. Masks and hugs. Dry socks, wet blankets. A knife and blood. Lights and sirens. Guns drawn, tasers out. Questions with and without answers. Trauma, PTSD. Prayers and tears. Love and fear. It was a week...

One person can make a difference. A smile, a pair of dry socks, a cardboard box, a bottle of water. Sitting in silence, just being together. Learning to trust, accepting.

What can $5 do? Two cases of water for a 90 degree day. What can $10 do? 8 loaves of bread and a large jar of peanut butter.
What can an old sweatshirt do? Comfort.

One person can make a difference. Your donation makes a difference.

Please see our GoFundMe page to help continue to take care of our friends. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Do you sleep well when it rains? Windows cracked slightly to hear the rain patter down on the trees outside your windows but yet closed enough to not let the rain inside. Do you feel yourself relax and your body calm when it rains during the night? Do you wish you could just stay in bed and listen to the rain? Do you smell the rain and smile because you know it's feeding your flowers or gardens? My friends don't... it was a hard week for them with rain almost everyday. "It's hard to put on dry clothes when you don't have any."
This week, with the help of donations, I was able to provide towels, bags of new socks as well as cases of water for drinking and hygiene.
No matter their stories, how they ended up sleeping on soaked, muddy cardboard, and hanging their few belongings on trees and fences to dry between storms, they are my friends and they choose to be happy.
Please continue to give love, donate and help us take care of the Bobs.

Meet Bob, he is 45. His story is one of devastation and sadness. Something that a kind and funny soul shouldn’t have to endure. In his words “my family doesn’t want me...and now I’m here”

He likes to talk and dreams of getting off the streets. He is concerned about being homeless, and feels people need to be educated in the stories of those like him.

Victor began crying when he saw me. "You really do love us! You really do care! How did you find us?!". The Letter, I tell him.
We gather, I read it to the group. There is anger and cussing. There is pacing back and forth. There are tears of feeling ashamed. There are cheers and hollering for me not standing down for Bob and, all my Bobs.

The Letter... the Letter has brought awareness, the letter has brought determination for myself and family and friends. The Letter has made me want to share their stories even louder. Please follow our journey on our Hope For Bobs, Corp page. Share it. Donate if you can. If you have physical donation items, we can pick them up.

His name is Victor and, I am honored to call him my friend.
