Shrine Club Spotlight-
Bro. Dave Thomas -

As founder of the Wendy’s restaurant chain, his appearances as spokesperson have made their advertising campaign the longest running in history.

Thomas was inducted into the Junior Achievement U.S. Business Hall of Fame in 1999.

Thomas was also a Freemason at Sol. D. Bayless Lodge No. 359 Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a member of the Shriners; he received the honorary 33rd degree in 1995.

Thomas was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2003.

Shrine Club Spot light!

Bro. John Wayne

Wayne starred in over 170 films throughout his career.

He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in "True Grit" (1969).

He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The John Wayne Cancer Foundation was established in 1985 to support cancer research and education.

He passed away on June 11, 1979.
