Old Bob's Flight Line Roast
On a bright day at the old flight line ,
Rolled in a motorglider, half-plane, half who knows what.
Bob eyed the contraption, wings long and thin,
With a tiny prop that could hardly spin.

Look at this mess, can't decide what to be,
a glider or plane ? or just a mystery.
That motor's a joke , sounds like a week wack,
Climb rate so slow, you might as well go pack.

The pilot smiled, said, "No tow for me,
I start my own--see how easy it be?"
OBTP shot back quick, with a smirk and a grin,
"Sure, like a microwave makes a chef from within."

The engine gave coughs, then sputtered and died,
OBTP laughed , "Even it's ashamed of the ride."
Son, when you want real flight, pure and true,
Call OBTP for a tow, "I'll teach you what to do."😂😂😂

TCSC member Randy Jones flew our new addition to our fleet today. TCSC is making waves and moving forward toward more XC flights and development of our youth XC program.

Another milestone for our youth program. Carter Leonard, 14 year old youth member of the club recently did his solo flight in the Schweizer 2-33 and after 5 solo flights flew the Club 1-26D, AKA "SCOTTY".
Carter did a fantastic job of flying the 1-26 and stayed up for 37 minutes on his first flight.

Pleased to announce the club purchase of an ASW24 for pleasure and XC soaring. Ship was picked up near Chicago yesterday and is on the way to Vero Beach. A great club, strong financially and continued growth in general membership and youth development.
