Vero Pride stands in support of Vice Mayor Linda Moore; she has always been willing to be a public supporter of LGBTQ+ folks in our community. It is very unfortunate that our Vice Mayor is facing these circumstances as a participating member of our community and business owner.

Vero Pride stands against the ill-willed spread of misinformation and use of mere allegations to promote bigotry.

Vero Pride will continue in its mission of supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Vero Beach with our scholarship program and services. Fortunately, Vero Beach is full of acceptance, support, and—above all—respect for our community which outshines this shameful moment.

We are planning for a fun summer weekend in June for 2025 Pride Month! Stay tuned for sunny details! ☀️

We must also share that someone is sending anti-LGBT+ mail to local Vero Beach businesses in the name of Vero Pride using the personal identity and address of a Director. The messages purport to reflect negatively on our community. While the recipients’ responses have been overwhelmingly supportive in light of such fraudulent attack to defame us, we must seek your help and ask that you share any information you might have or know of.
