We're heartbroken to share that our Vice President of Economic Development, Mark Litten, passed away on December 26. The news has come as a shock to our Chamber family, and our heartfelt sympathies go out to his wife and daughters.

Although Mark joined the Indian River County Chamber only six months ago, his impact was immediate and far-reaching. Mark approached his work with enthusiasm and determination, immersing himself in the community to better understand the needs of local business owners, and the direction of Economic Development in Indian River County.

Mark brought energy and passion to our Chamber team and was always there to lend an ear, offer advice, tell a joke, or chat about his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. We were fortunate to work with him and call him a friend. May he Rest in Peace.

Excited to attend JetBlue’s first flight ✈️ into Vero Beach Regional Airport today from JFK - New York City! JetBlue will be providing passenger service to NYC and Boston Logan Airports. This is a great economic development opportunity for Vero Beach & Indian River County!

These meetings brought together Economic Development stakeholders from across the state to share proven strategies and align on key priorities that drive Florida’s growth. Mark Litten
