A BIG thank you to PakMail Beachside for donating 50 boxes and tape to help us pack and safely transport 1,000 soup bowls being made by the amazing artists of Indian River Clay! 🎨❤️

Your generosity helps make our 34th Annual Soup Bowl a success! We are so grateful for local businesses that support the Samaritan Center and our mission to help homeless families in our community.

The bowls are coming to life! 🎨✨ Ellen Wayne, CEO of Catholic Charities, joined past Samaritan Center Advisory Committee Chairs Karen Egan and Caryn Toole, along with current Chairperson Pat Pellington, for a fun night of glazing bowls at Indian River Clay.

We’re so grateful for the creativity, time, and heart our community continues to pour into the Soup Bowl! 🍲💙

🎒 From Receiving Hope to Giving Hope ❤️

One of the greatest gifts we can receive at the Samaritan Center is the opportunity to see families not only find stability, but go on to thrive—and then come back to help others.

We are so proud to share the story of Sharette, a former Samaritan Center resident, who recently organized and delivered backpacks and school supplies compliments of Gifford Youth Achievement Center, Inc. to families at the Center. 🎒✏️📚

Sharette and her family are thriving, and she wanted to give back to the place she says gave so much to her family during a difficult season of their lives.

Her generous gesture is a beautiful reminder that kindness has a ripple effect. The support a family receives today can become the hope, strength, and generosity they share with another family tomorrow.

Sharette, thank you for remembering the Samaritan Center and for choosing to pay it forward. Your story reminds us why we do what we do: to walk alongside families, help them build a stronger future, and create lasting change that reaches far beyond their time with us.

With steady hands and a creative spirit. Maria transforms a simple lump of Indian River Clay clay into a beautiful bowl on the pottery wheel. One that will help change lives. Every handcrafted bowl created for the 2026 Soup Bowl is a reminder that hope is built one act of kindness at a time, with proceeds supporting families at the Samaritan Center. Workshop tonight at Indian River Clay from 6-9 tonight from 6-9.
