The Green Patrol Having a BLAST Keeping Florida Clean, Green, and Pristine. Because Government Can't Do it All. http://GreenPatrol.org

Problems the organization has been created to address:
Litter lowering property values via "broken window effect"
Waste of resources going to landfill that should go back to industry or agriculture

Happy Earth Day, 2025 everyone! Great News, this page has been quiet and we haven’t done any litter patrols or supported events with “zero waste” efforts for a few years, but that pause ends TODAY! These efforts have found a new home within a 501c3 charity founded by our original founder, Shawn Frost. He has connected with great folks to create a great program. The first goal is to collect 100 bags of litter before the Fourth of July. We NEED YOU! Post your picture here or tag us on your timeline. We will be randomly be giving gifts to people who post their litter patrol hauls. Let’s go have a BLAST keeping our community clean, green, and pristine.

10 Years on Twitter. Hundreds of bags of litter patrolled from our streets and waterways and several tons of material sent back to industry diverted from the landfill through our event recycling program. Excited for what the next 10 years will hold.

“Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do! post your 5th of July clean up photos below to show you love America enough to keep it Clean, Green, and Pristine.”
