Boston Slammers

Boston Slammers Boston Slammers 10U, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u all girl baseball teams. The girls are serious, dedicated and welcome the opportunity for extra playing time.

The Slammers was organized by the parents of some of these girls, in response to a growing desire by their daughters to have more chances to play organized baseball against other girls. Over the years parents noticed many more girls playing baseball, and found that sometimes the girls were overlooked on the baseball field or felt conflicted as they perceived baseball to be a boy's sport. They also

noticed that there were many competitive travel opportunities for boys, but girls rarely formed part of those teams. Parents reached out to different baseball leagues and brought many of these girls together to work on improving their abilities and confidence, and to give them an opportunity to play with other girls with similar interests. They also laugh and develop strong ties as they share their stories of what it is like to play with all boys. The Boston Slammers is a nonprofit 501(c) (3).

We sometimes measure success by the wins. We should always look at the whole picture. This team with mostly 12/13 year olds left it all on the field. Playing until the last out and never backing down. Congrats to a tough Philly Flames team! Rockford has always been good to us. Slammers began with a vision shared by a few parents from the Jamaica Plain Regan League. After attending the very first BFA Nationals, they wanted to make sure other girls had the opportunity to experience something just as special.

We welcomed a free agent from Vermont, and together we became the Slammers. Last night, that same free agent took the mound for Team USA—a moment that reminds us just how far this journey has come.

When we attended our first Nationals, a women's professional league was only a dream. In just a few weeks, that dream becomes reality, with many former Slammers taking the field.

As we return to Rockford, we do so with gratitude, honoring the players, families, and supporters who paved the way. Because of them, the Slammers have grown into more than a team—we've become a family.

Today, our Slamily stretches across many states and countries, united by the game we love.

To our current players: we can't wait to see where your journey takes you.

To our former players: thank you for building this legacy and inspiring the next generation.

Slammers enjoyed Baseball for All night at the Woman’s World Cup qualifier games! Slammers are well represented on many teams throughout the tournament. Some taking time after the game to spend time with the girls. Showing them they can play baseball at the highest level. We have a saying once a Slammer always a Slammer. This rings true every day! We wish them all the best of luck the rest of the tournament.

Team dinners have always been the core of what makes these trips so special. It’s a time for the players and families to unwind. 14u had a great time out last night. They finished pool play 2-0-1. They take on the Toronto Cardinals in the first round of the playoffs today at 1:15 EST! It’s go time girls!

A dominant performance in Game 2 at the Baseball For All Nationals! 💙⚾️

Boston Slammers Nationals 14U exploded for seven runs in the first inning and never looked back, earning an 11-0 victory.

The offense stayed hot with timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and eight stolen bases, while the pitching staff combined for a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts. The defense was just as sharp, playing error-free baseball from start to finish.

The girls improve to 1-0-1 in tournament play and are back on the field this morning at 10:30 AM ET to take on the Raven Selects.

The Boston Slammers 14U National team opened play at the Baseball For All Nationals in Rockford, IL yesterday with an exciting 12-12 tie against the Royal York Cardinals from Ontario, Canada.

After building a 12-5 lead, the Slammers battled through a late comeback by the Cardinals in a hard-fought opener. The offense stayed active throughout, and the team showed strong discipline at the plate and aggressive baserunning.

Back at it tonight at 8:30 EST against the South Texas Guerreras! Let’s go, Slammers! 💙⚾

Trailblazers complete!! That’s a wrap for five of our Slammers who just completed an amazing MLB Develops event in Vero Beach, Florida at the Jackie Robinson Training Center. Over 800 girls applied to participate in this event, and only 92 girls were selected!

Congrats to Mia, Ava, Penny, Amelia, & Brenna!
