Gifford Academy for Performing Arts is an after-school program that empowers youth from Gifford and beyond through performance, transforming their lives with dignity and artistic excellence both in the community and on the stage. We offer Piano Lessons to children from ages 3 to 18. We offer Drama for children from ages 11–18. We offer Vocal Coaching for children from ages 11–18. Gifford Academy for Performing Arts (formerly Gifford Youth Orchestra) performs at least six times a year as well as being invited to special events. Visit our page for upcoming concerts & events, and check out photos of past performances. We have placed violins, violas, and cellos in the hands of over 221 young people from 2003 to 2020. We depend upon donations to provide instruments, instruction, and sheet music to our students.

//// ABOUT US

Gifford Academy for Performing Arts changes lives. We provide tools and training to at-risk children who face the risk of remaining in a cycle of poverty. We give children a reason to hope and to dream. We keep children off the street and on the stage. Gifford Academy shines a spotlight on children who are often overlooked or underestimated, reminding them that they are worthy and capable of success. We say to these children, “Yes, you can!”

Gifford Academy uplifts not only our students, but also their families and the wider community. For that reason, we welcome donations to support our life-changing mission.
