A few photos of our butterfly boxes. The boxes were built by a team from the Kiwanis Vero Beach-Treasure Coast along with mulching the gardens and butterfly boxes. The Kindergartens' planted the flowers. A nice joint venture.

It is always exciting for our Kiwanis chapter to align with the Key Club Members from Vero Beach High School, and contribute to the wellness of our community.
Last Saturday, 6 key club members led by Kiwanians Cheryl Warriner and Jeff Myers, did just that spent time weeding a large rutabaga patch at the Shining Light Garden Foundation... an organization that supplies all vegetables grown to food pantries, soup kitchens, veteran organizations, and senior programs - and to families in need.
Since 2008 what started out as a small project has grown to an over 20 acre farm solely fueled by volunteers and donations.
As Kiwanians, along with our Key Club volunteers, we are thrilled to contribute to the work of Shining Light Garden in this small way....AND Shine a Light on their work.

Kiwanis Vero Beach-Treasure Coast 4/23/22. We worked cleaning up 2 Islands in the Indian River. Thanks to all for your efforts. 20 Kiwanians and 20 Youth In Action Kids working together to help keep our Islands clean. Thank you to the YSF for lift from the Mainland to the Islands. Thank you Captain Paul.

All followed by a lunch paid for by the local Kiwanis Vero Beach-Treasure Coast.

Kiwanis Club of Vero Beach hosted a Jazz Luncheon at the Vero Beach Yacht club this past Saturday. 150 people enjoyed the fine fare and service of the club, all the while enjoying fabulous jazz tunes by the talented musicians from the Indian River Charter High School.
A video presentation on the fine work of this Kiwanis club as presented by our president Doug Vitunac and a raffle rounded out the event.
Impromptu round of dancing , as inspired by our musician guests, ended the afternoon on a high note. By all counts a very successful event for the Kiwanis group and their guests. Thanks to ALL who contributed to this fabulous event.
