Lounsberry Hollow Middle School SCA THIS PAGE IS NO LONGER ACTIVE> The Lounsberry Hollow Middle School SCA could not function without the help of every parent/guardian.

Our goal is to work with the school in a variety of ways to make our children’s experience a great one! The fundraisers we hold allow us to have assemblies for our children, provide transportation for field trips, and to update playground equipment for use at recess, plus much more. We do this to enhance our children’s education at Lounsberry Hollow. By filling out a membership form and supplying

us with your email address we will be able to send out valuable information on a monthly basis as one of the ways to keep you well informed. On the membership form, you could also check off what you are able to volunteer for throughout the year. Please consider contributing in whatever manner you can. If you are not sure of your schedule, you may also check periodically on our website to see what we are still in need of for the upcoming month. We thank you for your cooperation in making our children’s SCA successful

Our awesome faculty and staff were given these tumblers as a small way to say "Thank You", while Finish Line did such an amazing job on such short notice with the moving up shirts for the "Class of 2022" --and two of our wonderful teachers are holding a sign that says it all "We came as strangers, we leave as friends!"

What a fantastic last day of school at Lounsberry today!
The teachers/staff received their Viking tumblers, all students enjoyed their ice cream treat, and the 6th graders loved their Vernon Vikings Class of 2022 t-shirts!
The entire school had a blast walking past the Lounsberry friends sign as bubbles were flying by and blow horns were trumpeting-- all while listening to clap along if your happy as it blasted through the loud speakers.
Then they all waved good-bye...
Such a wonderful way to end the year!!

Good morning everyone!

As the school years comes to an end, the Lounsberry Hollow Middle School S.C.A. would like to take a moment to "thank" everyone who participated in any one of our numerous fundraisers that were held throughout the year! With your help we were able to purchase/provide the following for students at Lounsberry as well as pay for/provide other items.

$ 650.00 - Executive SCA fees for the year.
$ 927.62 - 5th grade earbuds.
$1443.75 - 5th/6th grade planners.
$ 695.00 - 5th/6th grade - Golden Rule Assembly
$ 75.25 - Red wristbands to promote anti bullying that went with
the Golden Rule Assembly.
$ 197.74 - 5th/6th grade- updated recess equipment.
$1995.00 - 5th grade assemblies-Robot & Birds (in house field
trip).
$ 100.00 - 6th grade Treps program door prizes.
$4000.00 - 6th grade field trip buses; portion. Total price was
$7,000.00.
$1200.00 - 5th/6th grade field day lunches.
$ 175.00 - 6th grade DJ - Fun Night.
$1200.00 - 6th grade moving up t-shirts.
$1000.00 - 5th/6th grade End of Year Italian Ice/Good Humor
Bars treat!
$ 689.00 - Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheon/gifts.

Whether you sold/purchased items through our fundraisers, purchased Viking Magnets/Back Sacks, and/or helped out by giving your time at any one of our functions, "we thank you" for all you do!

By working together, we really can make a difference!

It has truly been a pleasure working with Lounsberry's faculty and staff the past two years! As most of us on the Board have students moving up to Glen Meadow, we wish to congratulate the incoming board members for the 2016-2017 school year!

Best of luck to all of the 6th grade students who are heading up to Glen Meadow Middle School. We wish them much success!

"Book it!" reading challenge met and exceeded 3,383 books read by our students for the school year 2015/2016. Welcome to the result- Camp Lounsberry appeared yesterday at LHMS, Ms. P and Mr. D accepted the challenge and spent the night camping out at LHMS!! Great job!--lets keep reading.....now what will they do to next year to top this???
