Lake County Toastmasters Club #652972 We meet at Holiday Inn Express, 975 N. Lakeview Pkwy, Vernon Hills, IL 60061. 12-1pm. 1st/3rd Wed. Meetings are held on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

Meet the Panelists:
Elizabeth Hutson: Finalist Toastmasters international speech contest. Liz’s speech was about her Taekwondo journey. She has a blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, conducts a Flight Class and this is just a snippet of all the things she does.
Al Scaletta: has completed exactly (80) 26.2 mile marathons, not including his other races including 5Ks , 10Ks, and 1/2 marathons. He has the most interesting stories to share about this running adventures.
Anand Soundarajan: runs among other sports & runs for a cause with his recent run at the London Marathon supporting children with visual impairments.
Andrew Hovanec: has been playing golf since school & has shared many a stories of his golfing experiences at Toastmasters in the most poetic way.

Lake county Toastmasters Elizabeth Hutson and Aziza Ahmed trained new and existing executive members on their roles. Had great discussions on their shared experiences during District 30 Toastmasters Officers' training. It is incredibly gratifying to be able to contribute to the broader Toastmaster community
-Liz Hutson conducted training for Club Presidents role
-Aziza Ahmed conducted training for VP Public Relations
We also had the opportunity to learn storytelling tips from incredible international speech winner

Lake county
Toastmasters heard an interesting story from Alfred Scaletta on his once in a lifetime experience running the Boston marathon.
This speech happened in the warmth of our club while conditions were rather Frigid (Word of the Day) outside in Chicagoland.
