A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our first annual CASA conference, Advocacy in Action, such an incredible success!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for Joe Girten at The Chapel Libertyville, who made this event happen by giving us the space to hold the conference along with his time and energy.

Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to our hardworking volunteers who brought Advocacy in Action to life. Your dedication to supporting children and families in our community is extraordinary.

🎄 We’re looking for a few more homes for our Giving Trees this holiday season!

Is your business or organization interested in helping make the holidays brighter for local children in foster care? 💙❤️

CASA Lake County provides a small Giving Tree filled with holiday wish list tags. All you have to do is display it and invite your employees, customers, or community members to participate!

🎁 We make it easy! Our CASA Volunteers will deliver the tree and pick up the donated gifts.

Giving Trees will be displayed from the week before Thanksgiving through December 13.

This morning 9 new volunteers (and our new intern) completed their 30 hour training and were sworn-in by 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois
Judge Marnie M. Slavin.

We are so grateful to this wonderful group for starting their new journey as Court Appointed Special Advocates, who will advocate on the behalf of children in foster care in Lake County.

Help make bedtime a little cozier for children in foster care in Lake County!

State Senator Julie Morrison 's Office is hosting its annual Sweet Dreams Drive, collecting new pajamas and books for children from birth through age 12.

Donations can be dropped off at participating locations throughout the community now through November 15.

We’re so grateful to Senator Morrison’s office and everyone participating in this wonderful drive to support children in foster care!
