Basin Breasties

Basin Breasties We aim to create in-person support opportunities, wellness programs, and practical resources that address life during and after cancer treatment.

Our mission is to support women in the Uintah Basin who are living with, through, or beyond breast cancer by providing connection, education, emotional healing, and empowerment. All funds raised will stay in the Basin to benefit local survivors directly.

A huge shoutout to our friends at CAL Ranch in Vernal! 💗🎀

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they donated a portion of every pink bucket sold! Their generosity directly supports Basin Breasties: local women facing breast cancer here in our community.

We’re so grateful for businesses who choose to stand with survivors, fighters, and families. Thank you, CAL Ranch, for making a real impact right here at home. 💞

Meet Stephanie Bills! She was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer just a few short weeks ago. She has a grueling treatment schedule ahead of her but she is meeting it head on. Steph you are so loved! You have so many rallying with you! Keep your head up. You got this. 🩷

The first Brave Baskets went out last week to newly diagnosed women in the basin. Thank you to for the coziest blankets for the chemo chair!

If you would like to donate to the brave baskets, please reach out! Starting treatment is a scary time and these kits will give women a few of the essentials as well as a big emotional boost to know we as a community are rooting for them. 🩷

From Cassi, a beloved local survivor!
Today is a special day for me and my little family.
1 year ago today I heard the best thing I could ever hear! “Your scans all came back good, the pathologist couldn’t even find where your tumors were, you are officially in remission”
Cancer is one of the scariest things you’ll ever go through in your life and you just don’t know until you know. After a diagnosis of stage 2 Triple negative breast cancer, 25 total infusions of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, a double mastectomy, and two reconstruction surgeries I’m really hoping this is the end!!
I went through absolute hell but most days I feel like I’ve come out stronger. I had an amazing beautiful friend offer to take my pictures before I had my reconstruction surgery when I still had my tissue expanders in and I’m so glad that I did. I haven’t been ready to share them until now, but I do feel like a warrior and i’ll gladly take that title. 🥹
CONGRATS CASSI! Xoxo
