X-men can only play the following positions on offense - center, guard, tackle. They cannot line up in a position where they are eligible receivers. X-men can play any position on Defense and are allowed to advance both fumbles and interceptions. On Special teams, X-men must be the front two lines or line of scrimmage. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PLAYS MY PLAYER CAN EXPECT? Each player must play a minimum of 10 plays in every game. A play is constituted as any time the official puts the ball in play, which means special teams plays count. If your player misses practices or games, if they are a constant distraction during practice, or if they consistently have a bad attitude they may not get their 10 plays. Football is a game that can be dangerous if players don’t know what they are doing. If a player shows up and puts in the work at practice during the week, they will get playtime! As much as we want your child playing, we have to take his/her, their teammates and their opponents’ safety into consideration first. If your player did not get 10 plays in a game, we require you wait 24 hours after the game and then talk to your coach about it. If the problem is not corrected in the next game, please contact your age group liaison so we can address this with the coach. WHAT SIZE FOOTBALL & FIELD LENGTH? Registration is $200 for the season. We are offering a payment plan of $50 a month for 4 payments. IS IT BETTER TO LET MY KID GROW UP AND GET BIGGER BEFORE I LET THEM PLAY? As stated above football as a full-contact sport. In order to avoid injury, it is very important to learn how to make a block or tackle and more importantly how to get blocked and tackled. Like any other sport, the longer you wait to enroll your child the further behind they are getting in learning these skills. Starting your child at a younger age will give them the ability to learn the skills needed to play the game correctly at the same time all of the other kids are learning them.
