What & Why
The Basin is known for many wonderful things, having resources is not one of them. When I began looking for different resources for my daughter, such as speech therapy, I noticed our options were thin. We could drive three hours or drive further. We are hoping to change that! We hope to provide fun FREE activities for children with disabilities to encourage child development. Currently, we work with children ages 3 and up. Each of our activities have a purpose. We focus on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language development, physical well-being, movement skills and socialization. Our program, again, is FREE. We all have enough bills to worry about! We want you to enjoy coming to our program and learning new ideas for your family! As parents, we have to be strong. Some days it isn’t always easy to be strong. THAT IS OKAY! There are parents everywhere who feel that way! That is what our parent support group is for! Come join us and make new friends! Learn about different techniques, crappy days, and build a support system!
