🚀 Blast Off Into Summer with Uintah County 4-H! 🚀

Join us on June 5 from 4:00–5:00 PM as we launch into summer fun with our Community Club Rocket Workshop!

Youth will design, build, and launch their own paper rockets while learning about science, engineering, and creativity. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, explore STEM, and kick off an exciting summer of 4-H activities.

🌟 Open to all current 4-H members and families
🌟 Cloverbuds (ages 5+) are welcome to participate
🌟 Interested in learning more about 4-H? This is a great opportunity to come see what 4-H is all about and meet other youth and families involved in the program!
🌟 No experience needed—just come ready to learn and have fun!

🐄🐖🐑 Uintah County 4-H is so proud of all the 4-H, FFA, and youth exhibitors who participated in the Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show (UBJLS)!

Livestock projects are about so much more than showing animals. They teach responsibility, hard work, perseverance, leadership, and confidence. It takes courage to step into the show ring and showcase months of dedication and effort. That's what being Beyond Ready is all about—preparing youth for tomorrow through hands-on learning today.
A huge thank you goes out to the incredible volunteers, livestock committee members, leaders, parents, sponsors, and supporters who make this program possible. Events like the Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show simply could not happen without the countless hours, dedication, and support you provide to our youth. Thank you for investing in the next generation.

🎲 Ready to level up your creativity this summer with Uintah County 4-H?

Join our **Game Design Challenge Level 2** this summer! Families and youth are invited to design and create their very own board game, card game, or imaginative creation alongside other creative minds.

💲 Just the $10 Membership Fee for 4-H membership
👨‍👩‍👧 Open to families & individual youth

Congratulations to all of our Uintah County 4-H Horse Show May 30th participants! 🐴💚

You all performed amazingly, pushed through some truly wild weather conditions, and officially got our FIRST horse show of the season in the books! 🌧️😂

Rain, mud, cold fingers, wet jeans, soggy boots, and probably a few moments of questioning life choices… but these youth STILL showed up, worked hard, supported each other, and rode their hearts out all day long. That perseverance and determination is exactly what 4-H is about.

4-H isn’t just about ribbons or placings — it’s about learning how to adapt, work through challenges, encourage others, and keep going even when things get uncomfortable. These youth proved they are truly Beyond Ready for the good days, the hard days, and yes… even the muddy days. 💚

We are so thankful for the participants, parents, volunteers, leaders, judges, and horse council members who helped make this unforgettable day possible. There was a LOT of hard work, flexibility, weather watching, muddy cleanup, and determination behind the scenes to make it all happen.

And thankfully… our LAST outdoor horse show of the season is officially over too. 😅🙌 The rest of our shows will be indoors in the indoor arenas — and we don’t think anyone is too upset about that! Ha ha!

Great job everyone. We are incredibly proud of you all!

This position focuses on supporting and growing local 4-H youth programs through volunteer recruitment, leadership development, community partnerships, camps, events, and educational activities that make a difference for youth across Uintah County.
