Hey Utah S3DA!

Welcome to Summer! Congratulations to all our awesome youth for completing another year. The Utah State S3DA Board is proud of every member of our program. We are honored to work with these great future leaders. Their futures are bright.

The Utah State Outdoor Target and Utah State 3D shoots have been combined into 1 weekend this year.

Friday, June 12, 2026 will be the Utah State Outdoor Target Championship.
Saturday, June 13, 2026 will be the Utah State 3D Championship.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS June 1st 2026 1:00 AM (MDT).

Due to a conflicting event in the same area, both events will be at a new… easier to find…. Location. Both events will be held BEHIND Wild West Meats on the Road to the Dinosaur National Monument Quarry and Visitor's Center. 4740 S. 9500 E, in Jensen, Utah.

An Updated Schedule will be posted on our Utah S3DA page and in our Utah SportsYou chat on June 2nd.
All Tournament information will be shared via our Utah SportsYou Chat.

Hey Utah S3DA

EARLY BIRD PRICING ENDS IN 2 DAYS!!!

Prices INCREASE by $10 per event on Saturday, May 23rd.

We do have a NEW LOCATION Both shoots will be at the same location on the Road to Dinosaur National Monument. There is pavement until you turn into the farm itself. The road into the farm is gravel and very well maintained.

BIG ANNOUNCMENT!!!

Early Bird Pricing for Utah State Outdoor Target and Utah State 3D is ending this Saturday, May 23rd. Get registered soon to take advantage of that pricing.

LOCATION IS CHANGING!!!

Both shoots are moving to the SAME location in Jensen Utah. On the road to Dinosaur National Monument. Detailed location and driving directions will be emailed to all registered participants, posted to facebook, and added to the Utah SportsYou chat.

The EARLY BIRD Discounted Price ends May 23rd. Get Registered before the price increase. (Each Registration goes up $10 after May 23rd.)

Both Events will be just outside Vernal, Utah, June 12-13th.
1 Weekend.......... 2 Great Events.............. UTAH SHOOTER OF THE YEAR will be Crowned!!!

We are looking for volunteers to help with set up on Thursday, June 11th and tear down each evening. If you can volunteer your time, please message, text, or email the State Coordinator, Mindy Mair. This is going to take a small army of folks to help.

A Few NOTICES:

There are NO Registration Line Times to choose when signing up. If we can run just one line time for each event, we will. We may need to add a 2nd line time to each event (dependent on the registration numbers). Those line time assignments will be emailed and posted on Facebook and SportsYou the week of the shoot.

We are NOT doing Shoot-offs for Outdoor Target. Only a qualifying round because it is only a 1 day shoot.

3D will have shoot-offs. Please plan to be at the shoot all day on Saturday.

It's time for another basic instructor course. If you are interested in becoming a S3DA coach, please get with our Utah State Coordinator, Mindy Mair. 435-650-5614.

Class will be the end of May.... watch for an official sign up to be posted.

**(Date is unofficial at the moment. Mindy has a couple options and we want to accommodate as many people's schedules as we can.)

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

We are 41 DAYS away from the Utah State Outdoor Championship and Utah State 3D Championship.

Come Camp with US!! FREE "boondock" Camping at our 3D Location. No Hookups but great company. Most of the S3DA Board will have our campers out there. Watch for more information on Hotels and RV parks in the area.

It's going to take help from everyone to have 2 events in 1 weekend. Volunteer signup will be posted soon.

Congratulations Kurt! Mindy will be getting with you to claim your new Hoyt Bow of Choice.

Thank You to everyone who helped raise the funds needed for an equipment trailer. Thank You to every kids who helped earn what we needed. We were able to secure a "new to us" trailer from BH Industries or BHI. We need to do a few repairs on our trailer and then it will be ready to ROLL OUT!!!
