“Libraries provide an inclusive space for lifelong learning. There is no other place where you have free access to books, education, and resources! Working in Youth Services, I get the privilege of seeing just how impactful literature can be, especially when they find a book or series they're passionate about! It's its own kind of magic.”

Meet Jess, our lovely resident Children’s Librarian!

Get to know her with the fun facts below:

- She has worked at the Uintah County Library for 3 whole years!
- Some of her favorite books include: The Huntress by Kate Quinn, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and Betty Smith’s A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
- Her favorite music artists are Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan.
- The U.S. Women's National Team is her favorite sports team!
- She really likes street tacos, and a few of her other favorite things include: Coffee, anything outdoors (hiking, camping, fishing), creative writing, puzzles, and travel.

Be sure to say hi next time you visit!
