We where able to get an old shed removed and area cleaned up this past week. We were also able to get a new storage container to store supplies used at the Cemetery. This all due to a donation by The Bill Saneford family, who are descendants of Bill and Helen Smith. The Smiths owned and operated the Smith Funeral home in Vermillion years ago and also maintained the Cemetery at that time. They also had the hardware store on main street. Helping with the project was Bramhall Dozer Service (Kim and Anthony), also Jay Schneider of Schneider Trucking Beattie. It is thru donations like this that we can keep our cemetery one of the best around.
