South Amherst ventured out to practice community skills from lunch at Bob Evans, the beach, and a park. At the park we were able to exercise our legs and arms, enjoy the nice weather. This past week we also did experiment projects learning about gravity with suction using a tube, water and a ball and some heat and a balloon.

South Amherst LIC enjoyed the water, worked our arms and legs, showed off our artistic side with making tye dye shirts, celebrated Mays birthdays, a few ladies from the South Lorain Campus stopped by for a visit and shared some things they would like to do with a few of the ladies from the South Amherst Campus so they can build new friendships, watched a healthy snack lesson plan on Step-up and then we made our own smoothies as a healthy snack. With this lesson, they named off some snacks and identified something healthy they had for lunch.
