The Vermont Blues Society has been growing, and we have great things planned for the rest of the year. Coming up next Saturday, June 20 at 2 PM is the Vermont Blues Society first annual picnic, concert, blues jam and fundraiser. The concert portion features some great performers, including Blues Music Award winner and Grammy nominee Anthony Geraci, singer Gina Coleman from the Misty Blues Band, "Crossroads" screenwriter and keyboardist John Fusco, Blues Blast Music Award nominee Sunny Lowdown, and Vermont Blues Society board president and Dangerous Blues man Bob Stannard, as well as special guests. Bring your instruments for the jam, and enjoy a great afternoon of blues, food, and fun. It's rain or shine, free, donations highly appreciated. https://www.vermontbluessociety.org.

I'm still out sick today, so I'm re-airing a two hour show of blues and blues infused, punctuated by an interview with a long time contractor for the Veterans Administration who provides firsthand information about what the DOGE cuts will mean for veterans and this country.
