Happy Thanksgiving 🦃! We have put 4 bags of food for Thanksgiving dinner for 4. Each bag contains ingredients for a traditional dinner. Please take a bag for your family if you are in need of a little help this year.
Feel free to take a Happy Thanksgiving note with you as well. Aren’t they so cute! It makes our hearts happy tlwhen we see them.

We are so blessed! God is so good! The Verden Blessing box has been chosen to receive a donation from the Verden High School student council. These ladies are very generous, kind and thoughtful to think of us when making their decision of where their money they have raised will go. I’m thankful they decided to keep it local! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

It’s been tough with food prices on the rise. If anyone is interested in doing a food drive, please message me. We are in need of donations, the box has been used a lot in the past 2 months. First Baptist Church Verden, where our box is located, can accept donations Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm. If those times don’t work for you please send me a message and I will meet you. Thank you to all that have donated to our Blessing Box!! I am amazed by your blessings that you have sent. The box has helped many people with your donations as it is being used daily. You all have warmed my heart and soul.

Please share!! We will be accepting clean, gently used blankets, coats, jackets, gloves, and warm hats to donate to those who need them in our community. We need all sizes from children's to adults.
There is a drop off box at First Baptist Church, 120 US-62, Verden, OK, between the hours of 9am-12p Monday thru Friday. Saturday, October 9, 2021, First Baptist Church in Verden will be hosting a "Share the Warmth" event for Verden and surrounding communities. This event is open to anyone who needs these items. Items left over will be donated to local charities.

Would you like to donate to the Verden blessing box? Does your business want to donate but needs a tax deductible receipt? You can always go to www.oklahomablessingboxes.org and make a donation there, put Verden Blessing Box Donation in the description and they will send us a gift card to use the funds then send you a tax deduction receipt. Please spread the word.

If you would like to purchase items yourself, you can drop them off between the hours 9am-12pm Monday thru Friday at First Baptist Church in Verden, where the box is located. We always need diapers, canned meat items, meals that can be made (spaghetti or tuna/chicken helper, think any meal that a teenager can make by adding water), snacks for younger people (fruit snacks, pop tarts, granola bars, etc), etc.

Thank you all for the donations we have received! It takes the support of our community to make this work and to help ensure no one goes without food! God bless!!!

I am so moved by these wonderful young women at Verden High School. They truly have filled my heart with joy. They started a food drive for the blessing box, and received lots of donations. These young women have helped their community more than I can express with words. I’m blessed to have their help on this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
