This page is to promote information and education regarding fire/rescue, safety issues and our community. We would like to welcome you to the “New” official page of the Union Vale Fire Dept. We take great pride and honor in introducing you to our department. The Union Vale Fire Department is a Volunteer department comprised of 65 volunteer firefighters and EMTs. We no doubt have some of t

he most dedicated and talented firefighters and EMTs in the area. We provide service not only to the Town of Union Vale, but also work closely with our Mutual Aid Departments to serve you as quickly and efficiently as possible, while at the same time, keeping taxes under control. We do employ the services of Empress EMS weekly from 6 a.m. to handle the EMS calls during the day. This is done to help serve you, the residents of the Town of Union Vale. Our department has a roster of 65 volunteer members, and we respond to over 600 fire and EMS calls per year. Our department provides structural and wild land fire suppression, all forms of rescue and EMS coverage with our fire trucks and ambulances. We also provide mutual aid to our neighboring fire departments and EMS Agencies in Dutchess County. Most of our members have numerous certifications, including Firefighter I & II, Driver / Operator, Technical Rescue, Fire / Arson Investigation, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Hazardous Materials Operations. Union Vale is a wonderful community in which to live. Our department maintains a strong partnership with the community we serve as described by our mission statement. To accomplish our mission, we need your support and understanding of our operations. I hope that our revised web site contributes to building an even better and stronger partnership between us. Please feel free to contact us at any time. Thanks for visiting our page! The Members of the Union Vale Fire Department
