There will be no distribution in September. Due to the extreme heat conditions we have experienced in July and August, we are taking the month of September off to rest and recover.
Please remember our food bank is run solely by volunteers. Who give their time each month to come out and serve in the community , so that food may be distributed at no cost to those who receive it.

Thank you everyone who came out to our distribution yesterday. Our wait times were unusually long due to issues with our delivery. As always please be patient with us. These were circumstances beyond our control. We want to give a huge thanks to VISD for the use of their equipment, so we could finish unloading the truck. Also to our amazing volunteers that come out every month in all kinds of weather. August distribution will be the 22nd.

This event will be on July 18th at Venus High School. 9am-12.
Lots of good stuff. You must be a student in VISD to get school supplies. However there will still be lots of other things available.

Unfortunately we will not be doing our school supply boxes this year. So please think about attending this event. Or if you’re student goes to VISD go to the Back to School Fair on July 18th for your school supplies.

SYB Construction Inc. Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway!

We’re excited to give back to the community by helping local students start the school year prepared!

Join us on Wednesday, July 29, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at SYB Construction Co., Inc.

We’ll be giving away:

🎒 180 Elementary (Grades K–5) backpacks filled with school supplies

🎒 120 Middle & High School (Grades 6–12) backpacks filled with school supplies

✅ First come, first served
✅ One backpack per person (unless multiple children are present)
✅ While supplies last

We’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in the students and families of our community and hope to make the start of the school year just a little easier.
