The people powered movement has been brewing in Santa Maria & Guadalupe for years, and last night it showed! ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

We’re tired of establishment politicians passing down torches and big corporations buying out candidates to continue their business as usual strategies!

The working class people of District 5 showed up and showed out to remind them that WE the people of this district decide who represents us, not money. Our fight isn’t over, join us to keep this working class fire alive! The marathon continues and our next stop is the polls in November!

This election is our opportunity to push back against injustice and fight for the future we deserve. Vote early by heading to any Vote Center in the county and make your voice heard.

With the Republican National Committee and its allies pushing legal attacks on vote-by-mail ballots, along with recent USPS processing changes that may delay ballot postmarks, we strongly encourage voters to return their ballots as early as possible to ensure every vote is counted.

With Election Day around the corner, we took a closer look at who was funding candidates campaigns for Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors, District 5!

Ricardo Valencia’s campaign donations proves that he’s stood and delivered on his promises that he is by and for the people. With the entirety of his donations being from community members and labor unions!

On the other hand, Candidate Maribel Aguilera’s campaign finance reports shows that her campaign checkbook has been majorly funded by corporate interests and industry heads in Agriculture and Oil.

This June 2nd, let’s remind special interests that our communities are not for sale! Vote Ricardo Valencia for District 5 County Supervisor!
