We were grateful to welcome so many incredible community leaders to the 13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day VIP Tour! 🍓🪴

This year’s tour brought local leaders to four inspiring locations, where we explored the future of green waste composting in Ventura County, saw how the Rio School District is leading the way in the farm to school movement, learned about the complexities and impact of berry production, and experienced the power of regenerative farming to build healthy soils and strong communities. ♻️🥕🚜

Thank you to all of the local leaders who joined us for a morning of connection, education, and empowerment.

Please review these important tips before Saturday:

📍 Location Updates: Learn more on the post above. Visit the online Trail Map for ongoing updates.

⏰ Tour times: Plan your full itinerary with the hourly tour schedule.

🎟️ Pre-Register for FREE online. It is not required to pre-register, but recommended. You may register on Saturday at any location.

✅ Have your QR Code ready to go. This will be scanned at ever location you visit. QR Codes are sent to your email after registering.

🥾 Wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes. You may be walking on uneven ground.

☀️ Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat—or grab one at the SEEAG Hub!

🚫 For food & safety reasons, pets are not allowed.

SEEAG’s 4th Annual Plantopia event is happening ONLY at Ventura County Farm Day! Thanks to our friends at Plantel Nuseries, our goal is to plant 10,000 seedlings in the hands and gardens of our community on Farm Day to celebrate Earth Month 🙌🏼 🌎

Find tomato, pepper, lettuce, celery, cauliflower, broccoli seedlings & more at two Farm Day locations: 🍅 🥬 🌶️ 🥦

*WEATHER UPDATE 4/6/26*

It looks like there is rain in the forecast for this weekend – but rain or shine, Farm Day is on! A little spring rain is part of life on the Central Coast and something our farmers know well, in fact, it’s something they need. We’re expecting light showers in the morning with some breaks throughout the day, so please come prepared and embrace the experience.

Be sure to pre-register so you can receive any important weather-related updates we send out this week, as safety is our top priority. Wear closed-toe shoes, dress in layers, and bring an umbrella just in case. We look forward to seeing you at Farm Day!

On Saturday, April 11th, Greenwood Daylily Gardens welcomes you to visit their environmentally friendly nursery where plants are grown in their own compost based potting mix in reused nursery pots. 🌱

At Farm Day, children can pot up their own free bare root Daylily to take home. They also have hundreds of varieties of reblooming daylilies, irises, agapanthus and pelargoniums available for sale🪴
