Tender Life Maternity Home - Ventura Tender Life provides pregnant women with safe housing and supportive services in an environment that instills dignity and promotes self-sufficiency.

Tender Life is faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3)organization that provides homeless, pregnant women with safe shelter and a comprehensive program of change. Our goal is to empower the powerless, instill dignity where there was shame and provide tools for a better life. The Tender Life program includes pre-natal healthcare, career guidance, tutoring, counseling and spiritual growth opportunities.

We are overjoyed to celebrate the arrival of Baby Ava, born on January 27, weighing 6 lbs., 8 oz. and measuring 21 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing great.

Stephanie is already showing what a wonderful, loving mom she is, and Baby Ava is absolutely beautiful. We are so thankful to celebrate this precious new life and this sweet addition to the Tender Life family.

Tonight we pray for the momma who needs to know that You see her. Lord, she needs to know that You see what’s she’s going through, what she’s facing, and the worried places in her heart. She needs to know that You see her when she feels anxious or alone or afraid. Lord, we know nothing is hidden from You. Thank You for meeting this momma tonight. Help her know You are with her and You are leading her. Please give her Your peace and sweet sleep. We ask in Jesus’s name, Amen.
