Ventura Sail and Power Squadron The Ventura Sail and Power Squadron is a unit of The United States Power Squadrons®, a national organization dedicated to boating safety through education.

Our squadron was formed in 1961 and is one of 450 squadrons that operate nationwide under the umbrella of the U.S. Power Squadron. This national organization was formed in 1914 and is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects. Our members are boating families who contribute to their

communities by promoting safe boating through education. We enjoy participating with our fellow members on the water and in the classroom.
